Yahoo - When San Jose (Calif.) Piedmont Hills High School principal Traci Williams decided to actually enforce a longstanding ban on miniskirts at the school, her school-wide dress-code sweeps found a very surprised target: The school?s cheerleading squad. Now members of the Pirates? spirit team are facing a season wearing sweatpants under their uniforms during school to avoid violating the dress code, a measure that they?re none too pleased about. ?This is really unfair to us,? Piedmont Hills senior cheerleader Antonia Bavilacqua told the Mercury News. The skirts are still OK for games, just not during school. ?We?re just sad and hurt. It?s our school colors and spirit. And they?re making us feel like outcasts.? Yet it doesn?t appear that Williams has any plans of budging on her ruling, at least for the moment. If anything, her commitment to enforcing the miniskirt ban for cheerleaders and the rest of the school was only reinforced after attending the Pirates? football game against Evergreen Valley (Calif.) High last week and surveying their cheerleaders? uniforms.
Well we?ve gone and done it. We?ve officially hit rock bottom. Like every time I think we?ve hit rock bottom before we haven?t. But we can?t sink any lower than this. It?s physiologically impossible. Cheerleaders being forced to wear sweatpants under their skirts. That is as low as it gets. Seroiusly imagine being a solider in Afganistan fighting your ass off against terrorists and reading this story? Cheerleaders being forced to wear sweatpants like god damn George fucking Costanza? What?s the point of fighting anymore? The terrorists have already won. You might as well just pack up your shit and come home.
My question as always with stories like these are what does this feminist principal think she?s accomplishing here? How does banning skirts do anything? What does she think is going to happen when these chicks go to college? Obviously they are going to release all their pent up sexual frustration and wear the sluttiest, nastiest get ups they can find and fuck everything that moves just to prove a point. Way to go Principal Willimas?way to go. ?You want to be a hero? ?How about cutting all the fat chicks from the squad. ? At least that?s a real life lesson you can teach these girls. ?That fat chicks suck.
